Welcome to Elizabeth Needham who joins our Board of Trustees

We are excited to welcome Elizabeth Needham to Discovery Trust who joins our Board of Trustees! Elizabeth has an ongoing passion for the education of each individual helping them achieve their very best potential, with over 30 years’ experience in education across all phases and sectors, Elizabeth has experienced a variety of roles from senior leadership to Ofsted inspector.  Elizabeth believes that the learner should be at the centre of provision and learning is for life.

Elizabeth has a Batchlor of Arts degree from Loughborough University, a Masters of Educational Management from Leicester University and National Professional Headship Qualification.

Elizabeth is a Presiding Judge magistrate sitting in the adult court in Leicester and Loughborough and endeavours to give back to the community helping by volunteering at the charities Loros, Alzheimer and the Bradgate Trust.

Elizabeth has two daughters, and four grandchildren and leisure activities include the family, trying to keep fit and watching musical theatre.
