We are delighted that Raj Tugnet has joined the Board of Trustees having recently been appointed by Members. Raj has been supporting the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee as a co-opted member since November.
Raj is a passionate advocate of education and the transformative effect it can have. He firmly believes in social responsibility and ‘giving back’ to society to enable a more enriching, stimulating and technology-led learning environment to ensure young people have the very best opportunity to develop their natural curiosity.
As the Director of Commercial & Strategic Partnerships for a global healthcare organisation, Raj is well placed to support the strategic development of Discovery. He also brings a valuable insight from a range of organisations including large multinational, smaller mid -sized to start up’s.
Raj currently supports two other schools as a local governor as well as acting as a charity Trustee for the Marlene Reid Community Charity in Coalville.
