Louise Barber shortlisted in TES School Awards 2020

Louise Barber, Discovery Operations Director, is just one of eight finalists to be shortlisted for ‘Business Leader of the Year’ in the TES Schools Awards.

Trust Leader Paul Stone said: “I am delighted that Louise has been shortlisted for this prestigious national award.”

“Louise embodies the ethos and culture of the organisation. Since starting at Kibworth CofE in 2010, she has been a key driver in shaping the organisation as it is today.”

“Louise works tirelessly to support our schools and has made an exceptional impact across the Trust. This nomination is testament to her exemplary business leadership.”

Louise has worked in the Trust from its inception, leading the conversion to an multi academy trust with Parklands Primary school in 2012.  The business professional role has grown enormously over the years and Louise has consistently risen to the challenge it presents.  From human resources, procurement to leading and supporting school operations, Louise confidently takes it in her stride and is always available with some sage advice and a smile.

Although, sadly, this year’s event won’t be able to take place in person, TES are still planning the same amount of glitz and glamour with a virtual awards ceremony on Friday 13 November at 8pm.  Although an unlucky day from some, we will be tuned in with our fingers crossed for Louise.
