We support and develop all our schools, leaders and staff to ensure we offer the very best opportunities for our children, by providing the very best teaching and learning, so all children can achieve. Strategic aims

To ensure we remain true to our vision values and promises we currently have 5 strategic aims;

  1. To facilitate a culture of continuous school improvement in all centres that is focused on the needs of the pupils.
  2. To provide schools with highly effective central services allowing leaders and staff to focus on their core task of supporting children towards discovering their potential.
  3. To evolve a highly effective partnership which schools will find supportive and others will want to be part of.
  4. To build a sustainable organisation that contributes to the educational system.
  5. To establish systems and processes that remove the barriers to learning and provide equitable life chances for all.

Collaborating effectively

Discovery experienced tremendous growth and improvement in its outcomes and school performances. All of our schools are rated as good or above, with many of our schools joining us at a time when they were experiencing extreme challenges and required support towards fulfilling their potential. We are proud of the learning experiences that our schools provide for our pupils and the supportive workplaces our schools provide for everyone.

It is important that as an education charity we contribute to the wider system and we do this by forming deep partnerships with other organisations, by sharing our work openly, seeking feedback and making sure we contribute effectively within the world we live in.
