Leicestershire Live Education Awards 2021: Winners Announced

Winners of this year’s LeicestershireLive Education Awards 2021 were announced at an awards ceremony held at the King Power Stadium last Thursday.  The awards celebrated and honoured the brilliant work and achievements of the region’s best schools and further education colleges, and we were delighted to see Discovery Trust schools and staff scoop 5 of the 14 awards up for grabs. 

We are extremely proud of all our schools and staff and these awards are testament to everyone’s hard work and dedication.

Huge congratulations to:

  • Braunstone Community Primary School – School of the Year
  • Matthew Peet (Mowmacre Hill Primary School) – Head Teacher of the Year
  • Jordan Small (Millgate School) – Support Staff of the Year
  • Cameron Meany (Sileby Redlands Community Primary) – Apprentice of the Year
  • Lorenzo Martin (Sileby Redlands Community Primary) – Sporting Excellence
