Farndon Fields Primary School was opened in January 1969 and is set in extensive grounds on the edge of Market Harborough with beautiful countryside views. We have approximately 200 pupils on roll. The main building houses our seven classrooms, and we have a 2-classroom extension which is separate to the main building. There is an assembly hall, an ICT Suite, a community room, a library area, several areas for small group work and activity areas for cookery and art. We have our own kitchen which provides a varied menu for school lunches.

Farndon Fields Pre-School, with whom the school has very close links, is housed in a modern, purpose built, modular building on the school site. Our impressive grounds are used for sports and other curriculum activities throughout the year. We have a nature area and a small allotment. All members of our school community are encouraged to take a pride in their school and have input into further enhancing the appearance of our grounds.

We can offer support and ideas with:

  • Engaging staff with blended learning
  • CPD – how to find the time and where to find the courses
  • Digital champions – choosing the right members of staff
  • Blended learning in KS2
  • Embedding 1 to1 devices into your curriculum effectively
  • The importance of technical support
