Board of Trustees – Spring Term 2022 Report

The spring term saw several changes to board membership which have been part of our longer-term succession plan. Ed Green, David Williams and Jonathan Parsons retired in March after many years of service. Their contributions have had a meaningful impact, and I would like to formally record my thanks on behalf of the board for their dedicated service to the governance of the trust as it has developed.

A stable board with long-serving, committed members does have the advantage of a thorough knowledge of the trust and its mission.  It is important, however, that the board remains relevant with fresh perspectives and new skills.  Therefore, I am delighted to welcome both Lucy Welsford and Stephen Dixon-Mould who were appointed to the board in January 2022.  Both Lucy and Stephen have joined the HR Committee.
